Soil Analysis Report

1. You should have results for the pH, Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium of your soil sample. For each of these items, please interpret your results. What do your numbers mean for plant growth in your location?

2. You should have your soil texture determined through the reading on the graduated cylinders and from the ribbon test using the soil triangle. Explain what your soil texture means for plant growth.

3. What steps can the homeowner take to improve their soil? List some specific actions and how those actions will improve the soil.
