Car Fuel Efficiencies

1. Find your car on the website andd determine what your fuel usage should be.

2. Determine your actual gas mileage. How? Fill your car up (all the way) and record your starting odometer reading. Drive until your gas is almost gone and fill it up again (all the way) and again record your odometer reading. Divide the difference between the two readings with the number of gallons of gas that you just purchased. That is your MPG for your car.

We will be discussing ways to improve your MPGs (besides purchasing a new vehicle) after vacation.
